An “excuse” is a justification for doing or not doing something. The dictionary defines an excuse as a reason or explanation put forward to defend or justify a fault or offense. Simply put, excuses are never the reason for why a person did or didn’t do something but a revision of reality and justification for why they did or did not do something. “
- I don’t have time.
- It’s not my job.
- It takes money to make money.
- I am too young/old.
- I’m not a salesperson.
The reality is if you don’t have time, make time. If it’s not your job make it your job. If it takes money to make money then get some money. And your age really? People of all ages do remarkable things every day. And if you’re not a sales person then quit trying to sell everyone on why your excuses are legitimate cause I’m not buying it.
